New Beginnings IV (2019)
This 'New Beginnings' series are particularly special to me, after having an artists block, I decided to use a new technique which I have enjoyed experimenting with. Each piece uses a combination of bright colours and a hint of metallic gold. The colours and horizontal lines help represent an abstract landscape.
Each piece is 15.2cm x 15.2cm x 5cm original alcohol ink painting on white synthetic yupo paper. This painting has then been adhered to a deep wooden panel and sealed in art resin which helps protect the painting from fading and strong UV rays. The edges have been varnished using a danish oil.
Colours may vary from screen to screen depending on thedevice and settings. I have tried to photograph this to reflect the true colours and give a real representation of the piece. If you have a questions or queries please do not hesitate to contact me.
